with Tyler Herro and Bam entering their primes and JJJ showing off to be a very impressive rookie how do we feel about the Heat in the coming years? Jimmy is nearing the age players start to experience drop off do you think he necessarily needs to be shipped off? do we need to bring in one more extra piece or what?
Not sure we can say Herro is in his prime yet, I still think he has more to show. Same with Bam, one day he will become a 3 level scorer and that will be the true final boss of Bam. JJJ is going to pretty much mold into Jimmy 2.0 so I’d say the future looks great and we will always be a contender for minimum playoffs.
While yes Jimmy is getting older it’s very clear that superstars today aren’t regressing like superstars of old, they eat healthier, take care of their bodies with top of the line medical care and science.
Jimmy doesn’t use athleticism to score points he uses power, toughness, and IQ, these are traits he can probably continue to use at a high level until he’s 37-38 if he chooses to play that long.
So moving on from butler would just be silly, especially when this FO still believes the Jimmy/Bam paring can take home a ring as they have come so close to 3 out of 4 years.
We’ve officially entered the Locksmith Era and are undefeated. We’re basically never losing again with him on the team so I feel pretty good
Is Spo our coach in that future? If yes then I have zero worry
Nope if anything Jimmy gets the UD role, well beyond when he can’t play anymore.
Jimmy gets to stay as long as Jimmy wants to stay.
Its really the same story every year. This team goes as far as Jimmy takes them until someone else shows they can step up in the postseason.
Did you actually just suggest we ship off Jimmy?
You do not ship off Jimmy. Jimmy shows no signs of decline and has peaked late in his career. Is this a troll post?
Herro is still like 3 years away from his prime he is barely emerging, bam has arrived and still young, Jaime is gonna be a great player and Lowry and Duncan contracts are close to ending we are in a good position for the future and we still have our draft picks.
