I’m going to be a bit controversial here and say some things that nobody else can or will admit. And I’m not sure if it’s due to fear or stupidity, but I will assume the latter.

First off, this team is young. Now I know, a lot of y’all (probably the majority) did not know this. I don’t blame you, because it has literally never been mentioned on this sub or anywhere else before. The average age of this team is 23.8. And while everyone here probably thinks that this is a team full of geezers, I’m here to tell you that that is not the case. I know many people will probably read this and immediately forget this fact (why else would they say the things they say?) so I’ll probably have to post this daily until everyone agrees with me.

Secondly, Sochan at PG is an experiment. Another confounding one. I’m not sure why, but I think I may be the only one that understands this. And in all likelihood that will still be the case even after this post. Some say I’ve been “gifted” with an IQ that rivals that of Einstein, but admittedly I’d say it feels more of a curse; I can’t imagine how many game threads and posts I’ve gone through silently shaking my head at all of the people that don’t understand this simple fact. I’ve gotten into arguments with people who claim to understand the situation and will even relay a perspective that mirrors my own, but they just don’t understand. Can someone please, for once, just do 1/10th of the understanding that I do??

Nevertheless, for posterity I would like to explain the situation and be the first person to bless everyone with my knowledge. Sochan at PG is an experiment. I know that literally everyone in this subreddit who questions that move assumes that Sochan is supposed to be an All-Star at this position already, but it’s getting tiring having to explain myself. Sometimes I sit back and wonder things like, “are these people stupid? If they just understood that this is an experiment, any concern or perceived problem would just evaporate. There’d be no frustration.” Alas, I cannot even hope for people to be as smart and aware as I am in that regard. My only hope is that some of you foot soldiers can spread this completely unheard gospel across the subreddit and enlighten everyone else.

Third, we are not a championship team. I almost feel like I’m repeating myself at this point, but another thing I cannot get over is the fact that literally nobody understands this. Even after our blowout loss last night (which is legitimately the best thing we can ask for), I’d say 99% of the comments were something along the lines of “wait why did we lose? We are probably the best team in this league.” I won’t link these definitely real and not-at-all-exaggerated-or-fabricated comments, but they are definitely there and not a cheap fallacy I rely on to win Internet arguments. Just do your own research.

Truth is, we are supposed to be a long-term rebuild. Lazy passing, 30-point losses, and soulless & frustrated looks on our players’ faces are all good things. Pop even yelled a bit during a timeout so I’m not sure why these legions of Spurs “fans” (they are fake fans) have the gall to point those aforementioned things out. If he kinda yelled at the team, that should allay any reservations about where we’re at. My theory here is that all of these people think they are 10 times better than Pop at coaching an NBA team. Especially the people that don’t even mention his name in their comments. Hopefully they know how see-through their words really are.

Lastly, we are a young team. I know I haven’t really touched on this yet, but I’m a little gassed and will unfortunately urge everyone to do their own research on the matter.

So to sum up do not worry. Do not worry, Do not worry. Do not worry. Trust the words of a random Internet user and just don’t worry! And if there is any worry, it’s because you lack understanding. Read my post, become proficient in the act of understanding. Understand all over the place if you have to. I know nobody is capable of understanding the more complex and nuanced points I’ve made (Sochan experiment & age of players). But you’ll sniff the truth if you just try.

So by the all-star break can we not be a young team anymore. I really want to start winning some games.
