we were 14th after our 20th game, so kind of an enormous difference there. we were 5th place until our 8th game at which point we started to plummet in the rankings, so not really the same situation at all. it is a lot more common for young teams to start hot and regress than it is to start poorly and suddenly get noticeably better. idk what fluffy means in this context, but it shouldn’t be controversial to suggest that this team probably won’t get noticeably better this season.

it’s hilarious, even the title of this post is delusional. i’ve noticed a common attribute most of these people share is that they think the problem is as simple as most people not understanding the situation. and that once they leave their description of it, everyone will come around to their side. i doubt the majority of these people could even guess as to why people object to it, even though it’s been stated many times.
i don’t think anyone is arguing that Sochan should only be in the best possible situation. it’s not like this is a player having to deal with a tiny bit of adversity and completely crumbling under it. i don’t understand the point of pushing a player to their limits just to see if he’ll break.

that one legitimately riled me up. i don’t care if someone dislikes Harden, but that “speech” and the accompanying thread full of comments like “wowza this guy spit all facts” was so mind-numbingly stupid. that guy just ripped half-truth after half-truth (provably so) and tons of people creamed themselves over how “objective” he was in presenting the situation accurately.
i hated Harden in the Houston days but he’s probably my favorite non-Spurs player now. he’s just a really good player and by all accounts a great dude off the court. it’s hilarious how all of his detractors have to rely on outdated or completely invented narratives to justify their dislike of him.
