Al & embiid saga so funny it’s like that son who can never beat his dad
After our win and TWolves loss…
We are now the #1 in both adjusted offense and defense
At this point, I kinda want to see what Banton can bring to the table. I’ve never been big on PP, but I’ve also never been a hater. Besides watching his unreal ability to grab offensive boards and his solid ball security, I have been underwhelmed by pretty much every other aspect of his game.
If Al can hit a reasonable clip from three or even give some more minute to Svi I wouldn’t mind seeing what Banton brings to the table. He’s terrific at attacking the rim (I know he didn’t finish well at night) and that’s something that just doesn’t exist on the second unit currently.
Lillard shoots 10.1 free throws per game. One more free throw merchant in the East. I hate playing against those people. Fortunately Harden gone to west.
Abby Chin looked gorgeous last night.
Can we all just jump to the playoffs already. So fucking hyped.
The next matchup against Philly is two weeks later. Hope Al get some rest and father Embiid again.
Overreactions to last night:
Kornet finding his rhythm. Proving to be a decent backup after an awful preseason. If he could just rebound a little better I’d like him a lot more. Take him to the Horford school of boxing out.
Pritchard will be okay once he finds his shot. I still worry about his size and him getting picked on in the playoffs but he’s had 1 turnover in his last 100 minutes of basketball so I can’t complain too much.
Svi can’t play defense. He’s a fine bench piece but he won’t see any playoff time. He’s expendable in a trade imo, especially with how good Hauser has been. Hauser is an extremely underrated defender and played great defense last night.
Right after I texted my brother “I feel like Horford has made 3 shots all year” he hits 3 in a row. I’m sorry I doubted you.
BUFFALO BUFFALO BUFFALO
Even after a great win last night, knowing that Daniel Theis is just going to waltz through the door tomorrow for that dumbfuck clippers team has got me in a mood.
He’s on waivers right now. We have a 6.7M TPE, which is agonizingly close but not enough to claim him.
I’d like to have him back too, but he will get time in LA and he is looking for a job, what’s his future with Boston?
His future is year-to-year no matter where he goes. The Clippers don’t have a future in mind for him past this season.
If he was on the Celtics roster for the rest of 2023-24, he would have exactly the same role he had in the 2021-22 season. He would play 15-20 minutes a night and spot starting about 1/3 of our games. He would also get us through playoff series against our arch rivals when Porzingis is inevitably injured.
I know people deserve a second chance and all, but I really hope no one in our team is friendly with Myles Bridges for at least another two or three years.
