The idea is to just completely get rid of damage boost, and replace her alternate fire with the pistol. No weapon swapping, and no screwing up break points for other characters. Maybe she could even shoot while healing simultaneously. Obviously they would have to tweak her animations and stat numbers.

    I don’t understand this community’s obsession with desperately wanting every single hero stripped of their identity and turned into M1 shoot M2 grenade/shield/heal. If you guys want damage boost gutted so badly just petition for it to be meter based and give her overheal to compensate or something.

    Fucking around with mercy’s design is gonna cost Blizzard a ton of money. Mercy mains are single handedlg keeping the game alive by buying every mercy skin they release.

    I never understand people who think that Mercy needs some sort of rework or buff. Mercy is incredibly strong at what she does. If you don’t like her gameplay style due to being too “passive” then don’t play her.

    Mercy is literally fine. As long hitscan dps’s stay balanced she’ll be too. Mercy only starts getting problematic when you pair her with other overtuned characters. (Season 1-2 Sojorn, or release Ashe) for example

      Just because she does not damage you does not mean she does not do anything
