Having a superstar in the NBA guarantees nothing. The Bucks pairing of Lillard and Antetokounmpo means the expectations of a title are high, but it doesn’t make them a favourite. Not having a superstar only guarantees the Raptors won’t have many easy nights.

    Here’s the issue with this, even the team that preached passing to the best success in history, the 2014 Spurs, was filled to the brim with talented players. Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard, Boris Diaw, Patty Mills, Danny Green, Kyle Anderson, etc. Smart players who won’t make stupid decisions with the ball. Meanwhile we have Boucher and Precious out there at the same time deciding to hijack a possession for no reason and who also seem incapable of simply catching the ball on the roll. We just have too many negative IQ players on the court to run this offense. It’s like the offensive version of Nurses defense. It required quick thinkers and smart players to execute it to the best of its ability. We have legit, 3 players who fit that mold and we probably have to trade one just to attempt to make this roster passable.
