I’m just hoping they let Baker bake. Screw it. Let him go deep early and often.

I would rather get blown out and it be over by halftime while we were actually trying to push the ball down the field, as opposed to loosing by 12 “slow burn” style with a game that was never actually within reach.

Baker has faced the 49ers twice in his career. He is 0-2 with a combined statline from both games at 28/58 for 48.3% completion percentage, 315 yards 0 TDs and 3 INTs.

Mike Evans is 2-2 against the 49ers with an average of 3 receptions per game for 71 yards and .5 TDs a game.

I think it’d do the whole offense some good if we make Evans and Godwin the focus of the passing game for once instead of trying to force things to Palmer and Otton.

It’s about time Baker notches a win against them.

Here are the reason I think the Bucs will win:

We have a good defense that held Derek Henry to under 3 yards a carry

We have a developing offense that can be explosive and we’re figuring it out just at the right time for this game

Baker is better at away games and is playing well and protecting the ball

Mike Evans.

And here are the reasons I think the 49rs will win:

They are the better team stat wise and momentum wise and they have stars in pretty much every side of the ball.

So it should be a good game Go Bucs I’m hoping for a shootout that convinces the league we are a contender regardless of outcome.

It would be classic Bucs to lose to the Falcons, blow a win against the Texans, and then beat the 49ers in their own stadium.

Or maybe not classic Bucs, but it would be on par for the ‘what the fuck even is this team’ narrative.

Just make it an entertaining game please.

I’m ready to see their bagels get blasted. Just hope Mike gets good numbers.

This is so stupid man, as an out of town Bucs fan: why can’t both Fox and CBS both get 2 games? Why is it always Fox Single and CBS early/late? It’s the only game on Fox at 4:05 PM just let it play here.
