Hi everyone!
I have a 3-year-old MSI GF75 with 16 gigs of RAM and 4 GB GTX 1650Ti, and it runs ONLY while charging (so it sits on the table all the time). I recently purchased a Samsung Tab S9 Ultra for grad school since it is much more portable and can do everything my laptop can do regarding browsing and streaming, except for having some difficulties in-app optimization compared to Windows, which is fine. Plus, I will get a work laptop from my company once I graduate from university.
I wanted to know your opinion on whether I should just sell off the laptop and get the OLED Steam Deck for gaming because I don’t really know if it’s a huge compromise from playing on this laptop. I have used handhelds before (PSP & Nintendo GB micro) so I am not completely unfamiliar with it. How is the gaming experience in general on the handheld device? I’m fine with it being on a smaller screen as long as I can take it literally anywhere I want. Is the graphics quality decent for indie games, and how well do AAA games run on it (I usually play indie and platformers more than AAA).
