I feel you. I just got my steam deck today and I’ve purchased more games (around $30-$50 on sale games) than I ever have in my life. And I feel good doing so! I’m finally not pirating, I have my game saves forever in the cloud, and my achievements can be seen to everyone!

I bought my s9 Ultra after trading in my S7+ and I’ve never opened my laptop ever since then. I use it for browsing, college/note taking, and literally everything else I need to do.

I’ve stopped gaming due to my workload so I don’t even miss the heavy MSI that can’t run without a charger connected at all times.

Getting a usb c hub now also lets me hook it up to my monitor and I can do note-taking + viewing other stuff at the same time!

I absolutely love this device, and honestly, apart from some very specific software that maybe needed for my course projects in grad school (which I’ll graduate from next year), I haven’t really any use of a laptop at this point!!
