Giannis needs to let Dame bring the ball up and run the offense. Yesterday, the offense looked like it flowed alot better than usual. Giannis and Dame pick n roll would be *Chef’s Kiss*
Dame runs the offense every game and was getting the same shots he’s always been getting. The only difference is that he was hitting them
Dude this is unequivocally not true, I made like 3 separate posts detailing out every pick and roll action that dame was involved in over those games and they are so few and far between. Griffin seems to thinks dames job is to dribble over the half court line and pass it to someone else like it’s the 90s. Dame needs to actually be allowed to orchestrate the offense

The offense should run through Dame when they’re both out there. This should give Giannis easier looks on that end, while also freeing him up to be more involved defensively

Giannis is obv the best player on the team but he needs to be a 1B to Dame’s 1A imo.
Been saying it since the start of the season but either giannis or dame will have to score like 20 points a game and drop there usual average to be effective together
Dame was hitting all the right people it’s true. I think if Giannis got set down low or cut to the rim he’d get 35 ppg on easy shots. Let Giannis bring the ball up the court sometimes though to keep the defense guessing and also let Dame disappear to get some east 3 pt attempts.
I half suspect that the strategy to start the year is to have Dame do Dame things mostly independent of Giannis, and Giannis do Giannis things independent of Dame. Then watch the film and look for ways to synergize.
Dame had the same number of posessions last night as he did against the bulls, with giannis present Giannis is letting dame run the offense, but hes a 2 time mvp. He needs the ball in his hands as well.
