They talk about (around 20 min mark), that our roster construction the past years has been about primarily supporting LeBron. Whether its getting shooters or ball handling, but now we need to sort of shift to primarily supporting AD, if we really want him to the best player. This means grabbing second or third actual bigs to help him. They talk about him banging out every game and him constantly playing with knacks all through the game because he is forced to play the lead role defensively doing literally everything down there, as well as doing everything down low on offense. It isn’t sustainable. That is why games like yesterday happen. The one year we did prioritize getting bigs, we won it all. I know we have all been asking for more bigs, but the reason of this post isn’t for that, its for people to understand that what were asking for from AD is flat out insanity for him to sustainably do it EVERY SINGLE GAME. We always say “Get Bron help”, his help is AD, but in order to unlock him, we actually need to HELP AD.

I’d counter that by saying AD needs to make this a possibility by actually getting his shot back.

You don’t want to bang down low? Fine, I totally get it, but if you want another guy to support you so you don’t have to do that, you have to also do the work to make yourself playable next to them.
