To shed some color on the teams the Ravens D played after Roquan got there last year.

Saints with Andy Dalton Panthers with Baker Jags with Trevor (4 TDs/28 pts given up) Broncos with Wilson (9 points given up) Steelers with Trubisky (14 pts , 2 TDs) Browns with Watson (13 pts, 1 TD) Falcons with Ridder (9 pts, 0 TDs) Steelers with Pickett (16 pts, 1 TD) Bengals with Burrow (27 pts, 2 TDs)

So they benefited a lot from facing a fairly weak schedule of QBs.

Roquan is a very good LB, but I don’t think he’s the sole reason that D is playing better.

I mean this sincerely: Does anyone have Roquan Smith PFF rankings or any other statistically meaningful reference of how he’s been on the Ravens since coming over? Is he even the highest rated player on this defense?

I’ll be honest, I watched him last night and Roquan is solid. Like he was on the Bears. Making tackles but, I didn’t really see him playing “Ray Lewis” level football that they were talking about. I just can’t think 1 player, even a good one, can make this much of a difference that said, I’m interested to figure this out.
