I like our brownish orange. The Bronco’s bright ass orange is terrible though.

It’s true that Fields gets himself sacked on dropbacks sometimes, but Getsy’s play-calling is so weird that it’s hard to tell if he’s actually limiting Fields with short passes or just using a really conservative game plan.
What’s the consensus on Love right now? Is his inconsistency too big of an issue to overcome?
I think Goff might actually just be good now, but I’m not ready to admit it.
He blocks well when he’s in true pass protection, like a lineman. Whenever he has to move a good distance and then block, he seems to have issues positioning himself properly.

1·2 years agoI’m happy that we won, but I’m kinda sad that the Lions are going to win the division now. “The Bucs have won the division more recently than the Lions” is about to be a dead meme.

Doing something in college doesn’t mean that you can do it in the NFL.
There’s no way we’re taking a receiver at number 1.

1·2 years agoAmong other reasons, this is why TD/INT ratio is becoming a near useless statistic.
TD:INT ratio has always been a useless stat. Why present it as a ratio when they aren’t equally important? Touchdowns help a team more than interceptions hurt them.

He isn’t consistently average. His strengths and weaknesses are so extreme that he fluctuates between great and terrible. His stats look average right now, but 8 of his 12 touchdowns came from 2 games. That inconsistency isn’t sustainable.

1·2 years agoThere is no way in hell that Fields actually went through his progression. He never looked at DJ.
This isn’t how it works. You don’t look at your second read when your first read is open. Fields correctly identified Scott as open, so he threw him the ball. If you have a problem with that, then complain about Getsy dialing up a deep route when we were supposed to be bleeding the clock.
4,2,3,1 I guess
Replacing the coaches is the top priority–then quarterback.
