That’s very arrogant and can only be based on the assumption of never being wrong, ever. You cannot punish in 1 direction only.

Cartel of incompetent crooks trying to protect their positions and avoid change. We need to increase the volume after this.

The collective owners of the premier league clubs could put a pretty swift end to this if they wanted. They hold the power in this dynamic, not vice versa. League and referees association are trying to set a dangerous precedent here that will ultimately just encourage more bad refereeing and further tip the accountability scale away from match officials. It’s time for the clubs to set aside petty enmities and force change in the VAR system.

This is just stupid - absolutely stupid.

The FA and PGMOL have no shame.

Instead of being concerned about us - look at yourselves and ask why are we at this point now. The standard of refs in this league is piss poor

Ridiculous and very controlling. I wonder if even legal

Most other places in society have official complaints procedures. And if not happy with the outcome, you can take it to the ombudsman.

The rule doesn’t say you can’t criticize. It says you can’t imply there was bias. They don’t even understand their own rules.

Will the clubs blithely accept this, though?

    Hugely concerned about the criticism

but not about the integrity of the game that makes them millions of $
