Hey guys, first time posting here. I have been a houston sport fan since 2017. Mostly following the rockets and the astros.
Maybe I am a bit naive, but I feel like the first game was not as bad as people think. With the addition of Vanvleet, DBrooks, coach Udoka and the rooks, it is important to realise that our guys need some time to develop chemistry and dive into the new system. Remember guys, this is not the pre-season anymore, yesterday was the first real game that our new squad played. Let’s have some faith in them and don’t judge the players until at least 10 games in. We should start to panic if we start the season 0-20, but since it was just a first game, I think we should be less harsh on our guys.
Tell me what y’all think! Thanks.

In this day and age, people don’t have the patience and tolerance even for each other 🥲. Here’s to the world improving.
It was a one point game in the third quarter. They had a terrible game after that but they’ll learn what to go to in each situation within the system as time goes on
We gave Jalen 2 years of unconditional support.
If he shoots 20% FG, takes 1 rebound and have 1 assist in 30 minutes, then the problem is not time but his lack of effort.
how can somebody so athletic keep getting stuffed at the rim? dude has no bag when he gets to the rim. no jelly layups or creativity. just trying to slam one down without any creativity or reaction to the defense facing him…and if he’s not chucking shots that go in, he does absolutely nothing. no assists, no steals, no rebounds, no blocks, nothing…
but he does have swag tho. look at those fingernails. he so cool and progressive.
please.
You summed his game pretty much. Jalen has one good trick but nothing else.

I’ve noticed in the Texans sub the following.
Team or players playing bad = Dumb to evaluate early, need years for proper evaluation.
Team or players playing well = National media was wrong, 6 games is enough to crown my guy.
2017 you don’t belong here
