Seriously, of all the things Americans do wrong, us being against DV is not one of them and like one of our positive traits.

Besides JJ, give me prime Watson pre SA sandal.
If known shithead Watson gets us 3 firsts, prime Watson is like 4 firsts and seconds.
What?
Didn’t watch, saw Alp and playoffs so I approve.
Sergio Llull
If you do his last 5 games he’s shooting 45% from the field and 24% from 3.
Give me Xavior Worthy and we keep our picks.
We APPEAR to be in a very fortunate situation, although still too early to know.
CJ if he is who he looks like, is an elevator of talent. No shade of Nico, but he was pedestrian (Mills fault?) until CJ, now he looks like a solid 2. Dell also looks great, hopefully we never know if its more CJ or him. Obviously we don’t have Mahomes, but they are not giving him great to average tools and it shows, but even then they are 7-3. As CJ grows, we will hopefully not need to go crazy in getting him weapons, but unlike GB still get some 1st rounders for him.
Demeco, he seems like he can get the best out of the defense, and getting him weapons IMO should be our top priority.
Really hope he’s back soon and getting some minutes so he can spend time around Ime as it seems the only thing that might hold him back is playing controlled team basketball.
Not reading too much into that because of small sample size, but I’m starting to think Jabari should come off the bench.
Not because he sucks or he cant be a starter, but because I think being part of the bench will allow him to be a main focal point of the offence, and having him and Amen leading the 2nd unit will provide a pretty strong 2nd unit.
Also, if we get a say a Clint Capella type, we can have an extremely deep team.
100% agree with the luck matchups, and for sure we are historically unlucky there.
I’m just happy early on we’ve been able to take advantage as the last few years we still would have lost by 10,
Can we not be this way for like 5 minutes in this sub.
0-3 had everyone losing their minds and most reasonable people said it was wayyyyy too early to know anything. Then a 6 game sample happens and you know we are legit?
I absolutely love what I’m seeing and not just wins, but hustle, defense, non KPJ point guard play and more, but the season is still early and we are still and unknown.
While obviously not sustainable in terms of efficiency, I really like what I see as far as the game coming to him. The last four games he averaged 12.5 shots and 7.5 FT’s and seemingly took advantage of playing in the flow (and his 3’s falling). If you aren’t a star, throwing yourself at players in the paint won’t get you the call, but an in rhythm attack that draws contact will.
The first 3 games he took 17 shots and 4 FT’s and looked to be out of sync and trying to force his play.
As a person who has long been frustrated with his “limitations”, I love the idea of him being the 2nd or 3rd option, but potentially the most lethal person on the team as a controlled Green is an athletic freak who can have spurts of insanity.
Ime has this team bought in.
We clearly look “hungrier”.
How that translates or how sustainable that is in the face of losses is another story, but I see some progress.
There are too many mouths to feed to both maximize the individual talent and to keep player value up in the case of a trade.
I’ve noticed in the Texans sub the following.
Team or players playing bad = Dumb to evaluate early, need years for proper evaluation.
Team or players playing well = National media was wrong, 6 games is enough to crown my guy.
2 or 3 wins IMO
Although if we win by 30 tomorrow I fully expect this sub to be more wild than it is RN.
As someone not sold on Green I’d say, this year is so new, coupled with the KPJ thing. It’s going to take a while for the major overhaul to settle and consistency to take place.
Be bummed sure, but don’t abandon hope yet.
Obviously beyond early, but Harden would have instantly made this team better.
What’s your stance on reckless generalizations?
Also, we don’t know famous people beyond what we see on the surface, we know two things about him, he good at basketball, and has had multiple off court issues, including incidents AFTER DV. It’s not unreasonable to not what someone like that, someone we don’t know.
I’m all for 2nd, 3rd, 100th chances because I truly believe part of asking people to stop/improve requires society to “accept” them back, otherwise why would someone stop doing the wrong things. But not only has he very recently had issues, again we don’t have any relationship with him, so its a pass. Now my aunt who has messed up multiple times and FINALLY turned it around, well that’s different because I know her, I know her faults weren’t the totality of her, I know she wanted to change, I see she has. But some random person who just did shitty stuff doesn’t get the same leeway less than two months removed from his recent issue. So in a binary, want or don’t want, I’ll chose don’t without hesitation.
And really, it’s a weird look to point out not make some incidents define someone, yet call EVERYONE guilty of something out of nowhere.
