Hey guys, first time posting here. I have been a houston sport fan since 2017. Mostly following the rockets and the astros.

Maybe I am a bit naive, but I feel like the first game was not as bad as people think. With the addition of Vanvleet, DBrooks, coach Udoka and the rooks, it is important to realise that our guys need some time to develop chemistry and dive into the new system. Remember guys, this is not the pre-season anymore, yesterday was the first real game that our new squad played. Let’s have some faith in them and don’t judge the players until at least 10 games in. We should start to panic if we start the season 0-20, but since it was just a first game, I think we should be less harsh on our guys.

Tell me what y’all think! Thanks.

So what kind of context did you put into those seasons?

Like we had 12 first round picks and part of building that roster was making sure we maximized those picks?

The expectation that a team that won 20 games for 3 years is just going to suddenly be good without time to gel under a new coach and system is just incredibly short sighted.
