    Obviously Purdy isn’t the best deep thrower in the NFL.

    That honor belongs to Sam Darnold for this beauty to Ronnie Bell in the preseason.

    Dear football gods, Please keep him healthy.

    We REALLY REALLY need a SB on Purdy’s current contract coz windows close fast in the NFL…just look at the Bills and Bengals right now.

    That can easily be us in 2-3 years ( hopefully not). We have to capitalise NOW. Purdy is a good young QB trending upwards and we have him on a non-existent contract…it won’t always be that way. The next 2 seasons are critical AF.

    Also, I don’t know why people have been saying QB play is down this year…that’s just an excuse to refuse admitting that Brock’s been the best QB in football this season.

    He is him.

    We’ve seen enough and now he has played a season’s worth of games.

    He is a fantastic thrower. Very very accurate. He has zip on the ball this year too.

    I’d be interested to see a breakdown of his games from this year compared to the last few weeks.

    Because I swear a lot of the noise early in the season was he couldn’t throw a deep ball. And I swear it seems like week 4 and beyond he came out and just started throwing deeper passes. Almost as if to say to the critics—you don’t think I can throw deep? Lemme show ya.

    Fans of the Niners just need to keep quiet, don’t overreact and let these boys show everyone how’s it done. Ignore the stats. Ignore the pundits. Just watch him play. Let’s them show everyone.

    And I may be old but come superbowl time I will be singing they see me rolling! Right on by all these “elite teams”

    The ability to go the length of the field in just a few plays somewhat consistently is something thr Niners have not had in years. They had a flash of it with Kaepernick, but that’s a whole other can of worms
