    Are teams still anyways taking the first pick instead of radiant at the coin toss?

    Radiant safelane and mid are:

    safer, with camps closer to tower for optimum core farming pattern. Radiant mid has a freaking watcher right next to the tower even. And the medium camp is within very walkable distance while the medium camp for dire mid is almost all the way back in base. With a push wave and go farm jungle or rotate meta, radiant comes out much more efficient.

    Also being the team doing rosh during daytime is waaaaay less scary. And radiant combines daytime rosh with buyback tp to outpost plays. Bottom rosh area is also just more open and easier to control.

    People are saying it is because of radiant Rosh advantage but I feel like there should be more to it than that with this much of a difference.

      Rosh advantage is a thing again because of map timings, around the 20 minute mark is where a team is ideally strong enough to start threatening Rosh, which happens to be when he’s chilling on the Radiant side, who then has easier access because of the Outpost.

      On top of that:

      - Daytime vision makes it safer to take on the Radiant side most of the time

      - The respawn timer (8-11min) makes it so he will usually respawn on the same side, maintaining the Radiant advantage into late game

      - For the third Rosh, an Agh’s Blessing is almost always more desirable than a Refresher Shard, so another common Radiant W

      The simplest suggestion to fix this, would be for the initial spawn to begin on one side at random, then switch sides every day/night cycle, instead of having a fixed schedule.

      Another potential solution would be for the third Rosh to always spawn with one fixed item (preferably the weaker one, Refresher Shard), and then give the other one to the fourth Rosh.

      It’s pathing. Trees are placed so badly in Dire it’s jarring. Mid lane trees near t2 are atrocious, there’s like a line of them where you can’t go through it and hero will run in circles where as on radiant side you can hide in trees and move freely around and between them more easily. There are more examples on every lane.

    I fkin hate dire in general. Also, maps should be 99% mirrored.

    need to rotate the map 45 degrees to make the camera view equal (obviously bad solution)
    or mirror the map to have both teams playing as radiant view (good solution)
