So in a 82 game season, anything can happen and that means bad games but I want Tyrese Maxey to keep up the aggression even when the shots aren’t falling. Our balanced approach worked thanks to Tobias stepping up, but the best version of the 76ers is the one where Tyrese is looking to score.
His scoring sets up his playmaking, not the other way around.
And I have to begrudgingly admit that Melton is semi-ok in the half court as a playmaker. But still, it’s not his most comfortable position(3 TOV)
Do we need a ‘star’? No, but we need a connector. And since Batum is clearly not an every day guy, the 76ers have to look for one on the open market.
I don’t know if I’d consider OG a connector, but it’s worth a shot.
and the fact of the matter is OG is significantly better than any wing we currently have. and we can trade for him without losing any depth.
Maxey / Oubre / OG / Harris / Embiid would be a tough lineup to deal with
The OG Contract scares me, but we can cross that bridge when we come to it.
