Noticed in another post saying half life was free for a limited time, that many gamers had not actually played the original game.

I really enjoyed the original Halo. Seeing the Halo the first time was also pretty cool. I thought the game looked better than Halo 2 as well (played it on PC).

There was a lot of hype and hope before it came out. With some hope it would be a successor to Battlezone 2 game a mix of first person and real time strategy, while they eventually do this but separately.
