    As a switch owner, I agree that switch games (especially eshop) are really overpriced. Steam discounts can go really low like -90%. The Witcher 3, Ubisoft games, Rockstar games often go on sale too. Especially their first party games (although games like TOTK and Mario are obviously worth it).

    My kiddos play the switch and I use my SD. The prices for switch games are outrageous. I am thinking of getting a lower cost handheld (switch for factor) to replace the switch and either run emulation or moonlight but they love the switch. I just cannot justify the $40-60 game prices versus the sales on PC and all the free games on Epic.

    Check out fanatical and humble bundle. They offer bundled games frequently and you can add a ton of games to your library for steam deck very cheap. Enjoy my dude. Also, holiday steam sale is coming up soon.

    Shouldn’t half-wife be $60 since they just released it on steamdeck?

    Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft do that. For example Donkey Kong country tropical freeze. They raise the price from $20 back up to 60 when they put it on the Switch.

    And bonus: it will stay yours forever. I literally have boxed version of Half Life 1 claimed on my Steam, game I bought like in 2001 or so. No need to repurchase it 6 times with every new Nintendo system lol.

    Also I still remember that father from here who bought OLED and was thinking to give LCD to his son, but he ‘didnt build his library’. I literally can’t wrap my head around the fact he didnt throw extra 30 bucks to buy him like 5 AAA+ titles on discount. Dishnoroed 2 and Prey for 5 bucks, Humble Bundle with gotham knight, Mortal Kombat 11 ultimate, all Batman games and Back for Blood for 15 bucks etc…

    Do you have the other two Dishonored games? If not, absolutely grab them. Every game in that series is phenomenal, and they’re on a stupidly-good sale right now.
