I was very close to buying an OLED, but decided to wait for the 2nd Gen Steam Deck instead. I couldn’t justify the extra money for a refresh just yet. The LCD is completely fine as it is till the next Gen release imo.

(though if I was in a region with the limited edition OLED Deck, I would have caved in, not going to lie 😂)

What did everyone do? Buy an OLED or waiting it out?

    Got an oled. Handhelds I feel benefit more from picture quality than raw performance. There’s a youtuber named mystic that reviewed the Playstation Portal recently and he put it perfectly: “alot of triple A games weren’t designed to be played on small screens” and he’s 100% right.
