When someone tells you to switch without swearing, it probably has a reason, don’t immediately jump to berating and maybe just ask why, STORMFIRE, and don’t throw the bloody game just because your ego got hurt

Well kinda, but i was more pissed that he convinced the rest of the team to throw the game

Edit: like I didn’t even ask him to switch, wanted the illari to switch because her pylon was constantly being destroyed

I really only play the quick queue and end up playing tank most of the time. In that role, I appreciate the group’s input in what type of tank they need. And all the heroes are likable and worth playing, so I have no need to push back on their recommendations.

Similar story for healing. I like them all and don’t mind when people have a specific need.

Only time I might dislike the feedback is when it’s based just on not liking that hero — rather than it being based on what the team needs to play better together and win. I think people learn to dislike heroes without understanding their usefulness, or even out of some social/meme culture. Like Orisa is hated by some folks because she’s too good, like it’s cheating to use her. Well, if you need that type of tank style to survive against the enemy comp, avoiding her is really just handicapping yourself. So parsing out real requests from meme requests seems to be important.
