I don’t really follow the Bucks, I was just curious why Giannis is a generational player while his brothers aren’t and I thought this would be the best place to ask.

I guess the question might be framed better as to what Giannis’ brothers are lacking to make it, when he himself is such a generational talent.

Thanasis is 6-6, 219lb (198cm, 99kg)

Kostas is 6-10, 200lb (208cm, 93kg)

His last brother Francis is a soccer player from what I can tell.

Both Thanasis and Kostas have the height to make it in the NBA, so why was it that they didn’t?

Did they start playing basketball at later age than Giannis?

Do they just not have the same genes as he does?

Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez are identical twins.

One if them is just better at basketball. It’s not about genes. There is just so much skill involved in basketball that development can never be identical.
