Am I the only one left feeling a little burned by Valve saying “there won’t be a followup for awhile”, putting the OG Deck on sale and then releasing this like a month later? I get there was a “leak” about another SKU, but that’s not something I heard about until after the fact, and not really an excuse IMO.
It wouldn’t be that bad if it was ONLY the screen but that is clearly not the case.
Performance wise, its a negligible bump. Same with battery.
If you really really need an OLED screen then sell yours and get this.
I have a Steam Deck, got it about 6 months ago, and pretty much the only thing I care about is performance. And I see no reason to upgrade.
Think you’re just experiencing buyers remorse. But that’s like someone buying an iPhone in August and going aw man I should have just waited a few more months for the next one…
