What steps do you take to achieve that minimal makeup look? I’m trying to hone in on that… just started it recently and I think it came out beautifully (done it once).

So I need some tips please. Thank you!

    My steps

    Wash face LPR wash, vit c and spf moisturizer;

    Mac Face and Body radiant skin tint;

    Cle De Peau fig blush (love this for my pale winter skin pricy but lasts for years even with daily use);

    Cle De Peau eyebrow pencil;

    If doing eye shadow toss up between Elf love some latte, mac painterly or TF platinum;

    Lash Paradise mascara;

    some form of chapstick or plain lip balm.

    And if I’m really doing a nothing day I fill in eyebrows swipe on some mascara and call it done.

    My no make up look takes me less time to do than my regular full face. Here are some products that I use;

    •Mac Studio fix powder foundation •L’Oreal Voluminous mascara in Brown black •lightly filled in eyebrows with brow powder •dark brown eyeliner on then SMUDGE •blush in a muted colour •Nivea strawberry lip balm

    I apply the makeup with a lighter hand and keep it natural. Sometimes I’ll add bronzer on my eyelids and it pulls the look together.

    First I go in with my skincare. Then I apply my Primer and color correctors. Afterwards I go on with my foundation. Next I use powder Blush and powder Contour. I then go on to my concealer and powder. I apply a brown Mascara. Finally, I apply a lip balm or a lipgloss.

    For “no makeup” I would only do a powder under my eyes, mascara, clear brow gel. But my normal work routine only adds very light brown matte eyeshadow and a highlight in my inner corner and on the brow-bone, so I rarely skip those two things.

    Eyebrow gel (clear or tinted depending on the mood), tinted moisturizer where I want it, cream highlighter and something on the lips (preferably something balmy).

    If I have more time I’ll also do a little bronzer, blush (I mostly just take something from my lips and apply it as a blush) and do a little smudgy wing with a pencil liner or eyeshadow stick. Depending on my mood I also put brown mascara on my lashes, but I always curl

    I cover any blemishes, lightly fill my brows, a smudge of eyeliner, and a natural lip color.

    I either do only the full skincare routine or+ sunscreen, or I do all makeup except contouring and mascara/lips.

    Otherwise it’s full-on makeup for me. Not doing my whole routine saves me maybe 5-10 minutes unless it’s full glam, which is rare.
