I have been Apple TV user for 6 years and the previous model lasted 5 years without issue. The latest model got from last year just blacked yesterday. And it says ‘recover needed’. Then every time I recover it with my iPhone it dies in the middle and re-start this process.
I wonder what could be the issue and any tips?

what is more shocking is that after being this for a day, it fixed itself! IDK if I should take it to apple or not now.
Mine never recovered
I had two units do this this week. Both on tvOS 17. One was a 1st gen. The other was 2nd gen. The 2nd was a spare that sat in a drawer. We took it with us when traveling. They got stuck in boot loop.
