Minus the final Ravens game of course. 13-4 or 12-5 looks realistic for them. Going to be pissed if they win AFC North and make it into the playoffs as higher seed than us or even, my some damn miracle, a #1 seed. How TF does a team that gets consistently outgained and outplayed still be hanging around with just 3 losses? Mike Tomlin is a dang pest.
Dw they’ll find a way to lose a couple games that seem easy, I honestly don’t think they beat the browns tomorrow
Fuck them. Focus on what we need to do. What they do is irrelevant if we handle our business. Belee dat
I mean Pickett might not even be better than Browning and whoever the browns are bringing in
Yeah, but would ANYONE fear them in the playoffs?
Who cares, we control what we control. Win out and doesn’t matter. We have the talent to do it with ease, just need to eliminate the bs
I see can see them losing to Arizona (if Kyler gets more comfortable coming back from injury) Seattle and probably us, maybe even the Colts (given how plucky they have been)
They still have to play against the dirtiest LB in the division twice. A couple hip drop tackles and they will be limping into week 18.
But on the flip side, consider:
In 2018, the Steelers lost to the 4-12 Raiders, the 6-10 Broncos, and tied with the 7-8-1 Browns.
In 2019, the Steelers lost to the 6-10 Browns and the 7-9 Jets.
In 2020, the Steelers lost to the 7-9 Commanders.
In 2021 the Steelers lost to the 9-8 Chargers and tied with the 3-13-1 Lions.
In 2022, the Steelers lost to the 8-9 Patriots, the 7-10 Browns and the 7-10 Jets. This year, the Steelers have only lost to quality teams, so we can be reasonably confident they will inexplicably shit the bed in at least 1-2 of these upcoming games, aside from taking on us again or someone like the Cardinals. I personally suspect it’ll be the Patriots & Colts or one of the two backup qb divisional games.
We played the Bengals the first time with a crippled burrow and the second time with one with a broken wrist who left the game early.
We also played a DTR instead of Watson the first time against the browns. Let’s not act like we didn’t get lucky as fuck too.
Too consistent to be a fluke. They turnover the ball well and avoid big mistakes. Credit where credit is due. That said, teams need to take advantage of their abysmal offense and protect the ball. That’s my take on the path to victory.
I unfortunately have a family full of Steelers fans and they are all pissed at the current state of the team. It’s hilarious cause they agree with me that the team sucks and can’t even enjoy their winning record
