Curry joined a team that had won 29 games

His first season he started 77 of the 80 games played and the team won 26 games. Warriors top scorers were Monta Ellis at 25.5ppg, Pistons Legend Corey Maggete 19.8 ppg, Curry 17.5 pph

Year two Curry started 74 of 74 games played, Warriors jump to 36 wins. Top scorers are Ellis 24 ppg and Curry 18.6 ppg

Year 3 Curry starts 23 of 26 games played Warriors go 23-43 (shorter lockout season) Top scorers this season are Ellis 21.9ppg and Lee 20.1ppg

Year 4 The team gets to 47 wins and makes it to the second round.

Who remember fans booing when Ellis was traded over Curry?

Rebuilds take time, everyone needs to calm down and just let this play out and stop going for players, coaches and GMs necks. This team is one of the youngest teams the Pistons may have ever had, we need to be patient. Every player has shown improvement over last year.

You have to realize this is basically a college team playing against professionals. We have a very good roster to build with, we don’t need to make trades just yet to get immense temporary upgrades. We just need to let the young guys make their mistakes and get better.

Curry was very injury prone, and still has gotten to play more games than Cade up to the same points in their careers.

The team was 2-1 when they had most their roster available. Calm down.

Hold on. We’re in the 4th year and 2-11.

And some context on the young Warriors record: they were competing in a highly competitive Western Conference during that period. Win totals were more impressive than the numbers would suggest.

How long do you think weaver should get to show any kind of progress? Because In the sense of winning they have shown zero and have a poorly constructed squad

I always assumed this team would be competitive Cade’s fourth season, esoecially after he missed pretty much all of last season. This team was a team with no real future or sense of direction before he got here. The goal was to just try and make the playoffs as soon as possible.

This teams identity is defense and rebounding. They just have yet to finish collecting talent. I like the fact that they won’t mortgage the future to do so either, Also they are taking ample time to develop their players.

Curry shot 43% from 3 his first season, and 44% and 45% the next two seasons. We haven’t drafted anyone that’s given us that promise. We also haven’t won close to 36 games.

We also drafted Ivey, presumably to move on from the mistake of Killian Hayes, yet here we are watching 35 mpg of Hayes in year 4, on pace for an 8 win season.

By year 2, the Warriors were -1.1 net rating with Curry on the court. By year 3 they were +4.8.

For comparison we are -6.8, -7.3, and -7.5 with Cade on the court in his first 3 years.

The Warriors were a trash team, but when Curry played they were competitive. We are getting blown the fuck out with Cade. A comparison with the Warriors makes zero sense.

What frustrates me is the “playoff push” in the 2018/19 season et us back so far to rebuild. Not trading griffin and starting the rebuild fucked us and that move was 100% made my Gores. He wanted us to be in the playoffs and keep his super star who played his ass off and trade value couldn’t have been higher.
