Rebuild again? We’re still in the process of this rebuild.
Troy had too much confidence in what the young players on this team could do.
If this team win 35 games I can’t say it would be worth having sit through, but if they are around .500 with lots of promise sitting through this team for four years could be worth if it looks like they could be future contenders.
This team has gotten actively younger every season, and there are less and less vets every year, I would not call that trying to win, I would say the GM is trying to stack the deck.
I don’t think you understood the question
You are debating with a guy who became a fan of a player based on him buying a car from him, who probably doesn’t watch that much basketball
This team has gotten younger every season since getting Cade, this for sure is a tank. This is what the sixers did for 4 years. Before becoming really good in year 5 after being a bottom dweller.
A lot of the players on this team are fighting for a job; if they don’t make it here, they are not making it anywhere.
All it takes is one night for all the shots to fall and this team is going to get that win.
Youth, injuries, shooting, and turnovers which could go along with youth
The team around Cade has gotten younger every season
He will have talent by his side his entire career but at the moment he needs some vets and shooting around him
This is clearly a tank to stack the team with young talent for the long term, and then make trades this offseason for vets that can actually help.
I think we can finally trade some future draft picks this off season as well.
Year four Cade can either make or break this entire franchise; if they don’t make a huge leap next season, this franchise will officially be in danger of relocating
Either Ausar or Ivey need to move to the bench when Bogy or Morris returns, a team this young CAN NOT compete with NBA players, tiny mistakes can derail an entire quarter.
Zaccharie Risacher, Matas Buzelis, Alex Sarr, and Ja’Kobe Walter
very quick first step but he is not a high flyer
We need some vets badly
Play this season out, perhaps try and trade the vets for some draft compensation.
This offseason I would trade for vets that can shoot, and protect the rim.
I would try and trade for Lauri of the Jazz or JJJ of the Grizzlies, would pretty much trade as many picks as they want for one of those guys but making sure we find a way to keep all the players that were drafter by Detroit.
You don’t have to get players through free agency, you can make trades
BEST ANSWER!
Choose the Pistons, they are the worst team in the league but are very young, by the time they are good no one can tell you that you just jumped on the bandwagon.
Sheed was all defense team and he also was a multiple time All Star while in Detroit, and a champion. Whatever number he wore the longest in Detroit can go up there.
Tay had one of the greatest blocks in history, multiple time all defensive guy, and a ring, I wouldn’t say he is lock to have his number retired but he was an important piece on a championship team, it should be put into consideration.
Sheed helped get the Pistons to two more ECF after Big Ben left, he is as important as Bill Laimbeer IMO.
If you have multiple All Star appearances, and a ring, you absolutely need to have your number retired for that organization.
Lol Phil Jackson couldn’t take this team of toddlers to 5 wins
