Ok so I have named mobs millions of times and I know how you do it but I’m trying to make an Enderman farm and I’ve just finished building now I just need to add the ender mite but for some reason I can’t name it I don’t know if it’s because I’m taking damage while trying to but if someone knows how please help

    I ran into the same problem. You can’t name it while it is in a minecart. If you release the endermite you can name and he will not hurt you that much. And it will also be easy to put him back in the minecart.

    you have to name it before it enters the minecart

    These mobs are tiny. Is it sunk down into the bottom of a Minecart? You may need to get above it to reach it with the nametag, or you may need to name it before it goes in the Minecart.
