Ever since the introduction of endorsement levels I was mostly level 3 always on the edge of 4, leveling up lasted usually 5-6 games and then I dropped back down for at least 10-20 games.
I also did not see a lot of level 4 in my games, maybe 1 in every 10 games and the sight of a level 5 was like seeing a genji that never asked for healing. But for several weeks now I’m a steady lvl 4 and I also see a lot of other players with lvl 4, seemingly half of my games have at least one, sometimes 2 or 3 in the same match just on my team.
Since I don’t believe that Blizz is suddenly seeing my potential and grouping me with nicer players, I’m guessing they changed something about the endorsement system but I couldn’t find any info on this. Did I miss something or am I imagining things?
Yeah the mechanic seemed weird at times. I sometimes fell from 4 to 3 immediately after a game where I got more than one endorsement and endorsed 2 people myself. It looks like that decay was a lot more aggressive than the patch notes make it seem.
