An offer of Gary Trent Jr, Precious Achiuwa, Thaddeus Young and Otto Porter Jr is $37M in expiring salary with two 24 y/o players. Maybe you throw in some 2nds, or a heavily-protected 1st that conveys into 2nds.

Let’s pretend the Bulls are happy with that return. What would be the argument against trading for LaVine in that case?

Bulls won’t do it for one. Also Lavine doesn’t make us a competitor. Any team can beat any team on any given day but the Raptors will find a way to lose to any team on any given day. This roster needs massive overhauling. Horrible bench, weak starting center, no consistent shooting, no backup PG worth 2 cents, players too dumb to actually run the offense the coach wants to run. I could go on but the only problem there Lavine helps is shooting and even then he’s hot and cold and if he’s not hitting shots he’s essentially just as useful as Gary Trent Jr.

If I could seize full ownership of the CN tower without paying anything, what’s the argument against it?

If teams would give us good players for free, why aren’t we doing it? Masai is so bad

I would do it and then extend pascal and if it doesn’t work flip pascal in the summer when he is under contract already and during the draft.
