I ask this because it seems that unfortunately Ford and GM’s offerings in the US thus far are okay, but not great in the face of the competition. Most specifically Tesla, but it also seems like Hyundai Kia among others have also released some solid EVs whereas Ford and GM, such as the recently released Chevrolet Blazer EV, seems to have what seems to be quite high prices given the specs of the vehicle compared to the competition.

Stellantis in the US has no full BEVs, but supposedly they have a pathway towards quickly changing that in the US since there seems to be quite a few Stellantis BEVs in Europe. However, I’m wondering how competitive those BEVs in Europe. Does it have any vehicles that are top picks for their segment?

Somewhat related to this is also how Renault is doing given the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance and so supposedly Nissan or Mitsubishi can pretty rapidly badge engineer and homologate a Renault EV for the US / NA market.

The Fiat 500 is the best selling A segment EV and the Peugeot e-208 the best selling B segment EV, that said in terms of raw volume they’re not that impressive. The new Citroen C3 is more likely to be a game changer it could become the best selling EV in Europe or at least second.

In the USA they sell much bigger cars, so not really transferable, but they’ve been developing their next gen EV platforms for many years now, we should start seeing what they’ll have to offer there next year.
