wish Ben was playing today
Batum out of wife jail, LFG!!!
Jones, Avdija <-> Morris, Martin, House, Springer, draft picks
Avdija’s quickly developing into one of the most coveted player types in the league: a long wing who can pretty much do it all. Above average defender, passer, slasher, and has shown great shooting improvement this year. And he’s locked into a very cheap long term contract. It’s only a matter of time before teams start making a run at him.
Between Tyus and Deni, our playmaking worries are taken care of. We would have above average passers at every position. If we’re looking for high value moves to round out our roster, I’d way sooner go for this move rather than dealing with the Bulls or Raptors.
Any chance to beat up on Brooklyn and push them closer to sending Mikal back to Philly is exciting. Let’s go sixers!
What are sixers, on a 9 game winning streak against the nets? All started when sixers beat the nets without embiid, harden and maxey.
Hope they blast out the Nets early so we get to experience more Reed and Springer mayhem!!!💪
🇵🇭 fan here. Hope to wake up with a Sixers W!!! LFG!!!👌
I’ve been saying for about the last 12 months that the FA class after this season is going to be wildly underwhelming and that, unironically, tobias harris is going to be one of the best players available for the sixers (though i’m not sure of specifics of his cap holds - might be prohibitive for us and not sure keeping him around is the right answer - i would absolutely welcome it on a more reasonable deal, though). IN modern NBA and for his production, tobias is easily going to get a 3, 4 year deal in the 80-100 mil a year range though.
I really think whatever trade we make it’ll be with the intent of re-signing the targeted player, taking up a fair amount of cap space. What’s left of that space can be used to max out Maxey + re-sign any role players using bird rights.
There aren’t enough good players in the NBA… Sixers finally have assets to trade for another Star and the names that come up are role players that make $40 mil. Heat, Celtics, and Warriors were able to create Big 3s that actually had 3 great players and the Sixers are stuck looking at guys like OG, Lavine, and Siakam. C’mon NBA. Get some better players.
Batum back!!
just moved to nyc and debating whether I should go to the game today or stay in and watch the game while eating chinese
second option sounds better to me as of now
