They’re right
Spida is in that Devin Booker category, one of the best #2s possible on a championship team
good enough to get you to the playoffs but I hate his game come playoff time
He isn’t. Unless it’s a small market team from the midwest
TBF they got their Don Mitchell equivalent… its the rest of the roster that is the problem
I’m so happy we got Brunson instead
Knicks were wise not to trade for Mitchell or KAT. Mitchell and Brunson in the backcourt would be utterly flammable. KAT would be KAT only paid $60M/year soon, so no thanks. You don’t win a ring with KAT ever. They were wise to keep their trade assets for Embiid or any player above the Mitchell level (or even at the Mitchell level, just better at Defence and at a different position). I wish Mitchell would win more in the playoffs and drive winning more than he actually does
I like Donovan, he’s one of the best shooters in the league and athletic enough to score in any way you can think of. That said, I don’t believe the Cavs are a championship contender unless Mobley develops into a player who is definitively better than him
Yeah. Unfortunately, the game I saw last night was Chet welcoming Mobley to the league…
14 points, 15 boards and two blocks is a really solid game. Just overshadowed by the longboi getting 7 blocks, that’s video game numbers.
Watching it told a completely different story. After Chets first block on Mobley, he was hesitant for the rest of the half. Mobley came back with more confidence for the 2nd half and got Chet a couple of times (with a block and a dunk), but overall, Chet looked very comfortable with Mobley guarding him and punked him so many times offensively and defensively.
To me, Mobley looked like the unsure rookie with a lot of talent and promise, while Chet looked like the 3rd year up and coming star.
Edit: Mobley did look dominant whenever Chet was out of the game. The Thunder often had JDub on him and Mobley took advantage as he should.
