That’s why he’s at Singapore at Bleed to live close to his family. There may be days where he will run off to the local casino.
bro who the fuck calls him a millionaire, his total earning are around 650k and I m not even sure if this before or after tax…
sadly even valve preys on gambling addiction. so many people swipe hard on valve gamba boxes in dota 2 and mostly csgo.
Used to have a friend who lived a very comfortable life. He used to work in a bank as an IT manager and got a lot of side hussles, including leasing his lands to oil companies. Bare minimum, he must be earning no less than 15k-20k USD a month.
Aside from earning comfortably, we was known to be extremely lucky in gambling. And he capitalized on that for few months. Winning in any casinos, betting sites, online betting apps almost 90% of the time, he got addicted. Then all his luck suddenly turned to zero. He lost everything. In an attempt to recover millions of loses, he sold his assets, gadgets, and scammed people, friends and co-workers online. In the process, he lost his family out of shame of his schemes. He lost his jobs. Sank to more debts. Got death threats everywhere. We was just 31 then. He lost everything.
Fvk gambling.
people will never understand that it is not easy to win at gambling, no matter what sort it is. there is literally no guarantee win.
do not risk the money you cannot afford to lose.
One thing I’m surprised about is that Taiga seemingly never set up a company.
This was something Zai’s parents (in Sweden) did as soon as he became a pro. Prize winnings would go to the company for tax reasons. In Norway, for the same reasons, should have set up a company.
But also probably means if Zai were to have a gambling problem, it would be harder for him to randomly gamble it all away because the money is not as easy to access.
I have no sympathy for gamblers and I do not blame gambling sites.
If you are gambling as an adult, you yourself are to blame.
If you can make decisions about everything else, you should also accept your stupid decision, you gambled your life away and dont put blame on everybody else!
Same goes for drug addicts!
I also know somebody who lost a lot of money out of gambling. It is truly sad. I never gambled in my life (I’m 30). Even though sometimes I think about it, because I know a lot about football, it seems really just a very high chance of losing for literally no reason.
