Atleast we can stop asking now, Spo in nice words is saying he isn’t ready yet ( just cuz he can’t defend) Spo is being hard on him, but tbh I think Spo wants to play him. This was an awesome question the reporter asked, idk the dudes name but he must visit this subreddit.

I think he’d see the floor if he would block out and rebound the ball. Hes never going to defend the way Spo wants…he plays too upright and isn’t quick enough to stay in front of anyone on the perimeter. They’ll have to play drop coverage with him. In order to get Spo to change his defense you better be indispensable in other facets of the game and hes a long ways from that.

Jovic is going to be another prospect that we held on for too long knowing that we weren’t going to play him. At some point, the organization has to look at their track record with these guys and come to terms that we’re not getting anything out of these draft picks and look to trade them to some team that will play them.

I’ll be downvoted for stating this obvious truth, but it’s the truth and people need to hear it.

This is crazy to say 1 year and 13 games into his career no? Anferne simons took 3 tests to get nba minutes. Gary Trent Jr. Took 2-3 years to get mins. Norm Powell was good his rookie year, ducked his 2nd year and got really good in his 3rd year.

Jovic turned 20 recently and is coming off a very good FIBA run. We’re deep and power forward and Spo turns to the guys with more defense over weaker defenders.

What are the other prospects we held on to for too long? Winslow is the only one I can think of since the big 3 era and that was almost a decade ago.

Have patience, he likely won’t play many minutes this year but next year the logjam will clear and he will have his opportunities.

He’s the same Scoot Henderson. Y’all are so ready to sell our assets before they have time to grow, their impatience is wild to me. How many years are undrafted guys in development before they see the floor? Why isn’t that same grace extended to drafted players with obvious talent?

I mean literally not gonna play him we should’ve traded him, I would’ve bet money he would’ve got good playing time this season. Yea people do need to hear it.

unpopular opinion and im sure ill be downvoted. Why is everyone swinging from Jovic’s nutsack andtrets him as the second coming? Dude is mid. If you arent atleast PLAYING sparingly in each game, but consistently in the sense of the amount of games then youre nothing special please see Jaquez.

Tired of hearing about Jovic, the fact he’s considered untouchable in some trades is ludicrous
