Mine was on Thanksgiving in 1995 against the Vikings at the Silverdome. The Lions won in a shootout 44 - 38 and had to defend a hail Mary on the last play of the game, Herman Moore was on the field for that play.

I’d won the tickets from Ike Griffith’s show on WDFN 1130 am. Known as the Mega Man, there was a section dedicated to him in the end zone complete with black and red poster cards and t-shirts. It was a great game but a nightmare getting home and setting up Thanksgiving dinner so I said I’d never go on Thanksgiving again and I didn’t…until 2016 when I went to Ford Field and saw wait for it…the Lions beat the Vikings, which was another nail biter!

Anyway, what was yours?

    1. Lions @ Bills. I was very drunk so the only thing I remember about that game is
    2. The visitor side clearing out so my friend who had season tickets and I went down close to the sideline.
    3. Me shouting encouragment at John Jett and Jason Hanson after Jett shanked a punt and John Jett looking back and doing a “yeah yeah drunky”
    4. Met Crack Man and I swear he either sat in a chili dog or crapped himself. Poor dude. He was awesome, I remember hugging him.
    5. Detroit lost.

2003 Thanksgiving game. I was about to turn 8, and besides seeing one of the last games at Tiger Stadium, it was my first pro sporting event.

All I remember is people throwing paper airplanes with some random handout everyone got before the game. And they won if I’m remembering correctly.

I’ve been to 15+ the last 20 years (out of state fan) and fingers crossed might be going on Thursday.

    Go Lions baby!!!

I want to go to the game where my team visits y’all, thus making it my first. But I don’t see it happening unfortunately.

Last week. I’ve been a fan since I moved to Michigan in 09. I missed some great games during that era. I mostly just went to college games. I kept saying I would go to a Seattle game after I moved out west. I moved to SoCal early this year. Went to the LA game. I’m glad that I did.

I’d love to make the Saints game though.

Against the packers, December 4, 1994 at the Silverdome. I was 15. Barry ran for 188yds and we won 34-31. We played the packers 5times that calendar year. A young girl we went with got sick and puked on a lady with a packers jersey on in front of us. Glorious day.

My first game I don’t really remember much. My uncle helped some of lady cross the street and she randomly gave us tickets, but the game was starting soon and was at the silverdome.

It was vs the giants and they were up maybe 28-0 at halftime. And my uncle said ok let’s leave, so we drove all the way out there missed half the first quarter and left at half time.

My first game I actually remember everything was home opener in 08 vs packers, environment got me hooked and even though it was a blowout it was close until about 4 minutes to go when I think it was back to back pick 6s.

I think it was the third game of 2018? The one where our kicker caught a touchdown or something like that.
