Can we all agree that Randle is our best passer? You may not like how he passes but he consistently passes out of double teams or post ups and those passes end up with us scoring. He’s also one of the few that constantly looks for Mitch, although he forces that a bit too much at times, resulting in a turnover or Mitch getting the ball in an awkward spot. The numbers back this up too.

I think “best” is a bit of a stretch but yes good things happen when he’s a willing passer

Randle is having a really nice stretch. This year I’d have to agree. Yes.

I think my problem with Randleis when he gets emotional and snowballs ln stupid mistakes. generally he is an awesome player, its just frustrating sometimes to see him in that state

He is, but Ill say this as a Randle supporter (the whole team) I think it says more about the team that about him, This team is full of “Ok to good passers” but none above that level other than him.

He turns the ball over a bit too much to be the best facilitator on the team.

      From u/XOnYurSpot

“Yeah, Randles not even top 20 in turnovers… and the top 10?

Cade, Lebron, Luka, Giannis, Trae, Lamelo, Wembanyama, Embiid, KD, Sabonis, and Curry.

When you have the ball a ton you’re gunna turn it over sometimes.”

2021 season he was top 20. I think Brunson came along (2022 season) and helped him out in a way bigger than most people acknowledge. Taking the ball out of his hands made him a better player.

Most of Randle’s turnovers are very avoidable: Don’t jump pass, don’t throw lazy passes and don’t call for the ball and get a backcourt violation.

I think there is a difference between being a good passer vs being a good playmaker.
