I know it’s easy to get addicted to the misery and look for the flaw in everything, but if we truly see a franchise QB in this draft, trust the front office to go up and get them.

For now just enjoy the fact that we got 6 turnovers and had a QB manage 3 TDs for the first time in years. We’re allowed to enjoy the small wins, guys.

I’m just gonna repost this on every pro-tanking post:

On the one hand, yea I’m kinda mad we won. On the other hand, it was against the Commies + their coach is gonna get fired because of this. Also, wasn’t Mahomes the 10th pick? Now he’s the top QB in the league*. Jalen Hurts? 53rd pick. Josh Allen? 7th pick. Herbert? 6th. Rodgers? 24th. Jackson? 32nd. Only Lawrence and Burrow are top-10 QBs that were picked 1st overall.

What I’m trying to get at is that it’s not as important to have the top pick as much as how well we can develop our QB prospect. Get a QB with good measurables and high IQ. I’m sure Daboll could work out any kinks that are negative.

Or they’ll trade down…miss out on a person like oh let’s say Micah Parsons and draft someone along the lines of Kadarius Toney, or maybe meaningless wins will make them give better draft position to a team like the these very commanders who might end up drafting a guy like chase young…all hypotheticals of course that probably could NEVER happen.

I think we’re all just worried. Trading up is an option but it seems like John Mara is still sold on Daniel Jones, or at least won’t admit he was wrong for signing him. If we don’t finish with a top 2 pick and Maye/Williams aren’t on the board I can see him pushing to build the team up around Jones and give it one more shot.
