Not being able to wrap up players, and constantly giving up penalties on third downs is more on the players. I don’t think Arron Glenn did an amazing job scheming but I don’t think that performance is all on him.

    Yep, adding a player to the box after their first drive was a good in game adjustment. Not his fault guys can’t make open field tackles

    The defense did a great job, this is a bad take. They had to deal with 4 turnovers (I think 3 were on the Lions’ side of the field!) and bullshit 3rd down penalties. They mostly held the Bears to FGs, and made it possible for the offense to come back. Had a ton of TFLs, too. There were some blown plays, but it was a trade-off with how aggressive they were playing.

    Tackling was terrible by certain players. Some phantom penalties.

    I think it goes hand in hand. Maybe we don’t have elite personnel at every position but if thats the case AG being the coordinator needs to figure out to put these guys in better position to make plays.
