I remember last year a lot of “what ifs” especially regarding bans/draft after the finals.

This final looked like a complete stomp.

Was there anything WBG could’ve done to at least narrow the gap?

Like not picking that tk/senna lane? Did Crisp really first time Bard? If so who even allowed it etc? Should they have tried to last pick for TheShy so he wouldn’t get counter picked? Should he have played tanks and play for both?

Kennen pick was really weird, TheShy hasn’t played it for a long time and hasn’t won with it either for a while, not sure game 3 of a Worlds final at 0-2 is a good time to bring it out when he could’ve gone K’Sante or Ornn on B2/B3 instead and been more relevant/safe.

    1. Pick red side to give TheShy at least one counterpick.
    2. Target banning Faker meant everyone else got what they wanted
    3. not played double adc. Eg not senna. Tried hyper scaling ADC with engage supp.
    4. Camped bot hard, gone for dragon stacks

I don’t think any of this would’ve worked. T1 were just better in every role.

According to Daeny they had a few Red Side drafts prepared but they wanted to win on Blue side and have T1 choose Blue side since that’s what they did against JDG.
