Honestly, I myself can’t think of one right now because the kind of games I usually play are more on the blockbuster side and those are mostly all about a straightforward narrative, action and stuff. But certainly there are some studious out there who tried to think outside the box and do something different with varying degrees of success by what I hear. One of such example I see people talking about is Hellblade curiously.

Some people seem to be confusing “overrated” with pretentious.

Detroit: becoming human. It was laughably up his own ass.

The overflood of gayness from Sylvando in Dragon Quest 11 was too much. I mean, they dedicated an entire portion of the game to marching a gay pride parade through the continent.

For me, Child of Light. Jesus christ, what a beautiful slog of a game. It had so much potential…

I was born in the early 1950’s, and I liked the old pinball machines that you could win up to 35 games & then sell the games! Slot machines in casinos are games too, except you don’t have to pay a developer to play them, you just pick a machine and put your money in. It does take skill to find the slot machines in casinos that pay jackpots more than other machines. Thank you all, VegasLoveBug

Forspoken. It did for “progressive” what The Marvels has done: alienate just about anyone with a pulse.
