This contract is probably the reason why the Nuggets will not win as many rings as they should. Tim Connelly was the best GM we ever had but this was the biggest mistake he ever made.

Here are the others making MPJ money this yr give or take a million - Zion, Ja, Garland, Ingram, Jamal Murray, SGA, Donovan Mitchell, Dea’aron Fox, Bam, Tatum and Ayton.

The only player MPJ might be better than is Ayton and that itself is a stretch. The others are superstars in the league and can contribute in a variety of ways and are perennial all stars. Some even get MVP votes.

Can MPJ do what somebody like Bane is doing right now without 4 of their rotation and average 28/7/7 or something? I doubt it.

The lack of development in MPJ is so depressing. Not sure what can be done either.
