It seems our entire WR corps has stepped up this season. Tank looks generational (ooooft that Kool Aid), and the depth behind he and Nico is solid and young.

I would love to see the Texans add Brock Bowers or otherwise strengthen the trenches. Do you think the Texans look at a different skill position in the first round ?

Would be nice to get a LB, or someone in the secondary in the first

If you really want to win super bowls, you need to expend every asset you can and ensure that this defense is elite.

    Tank is WR1.

Rankins will be 30 next season. Perryman will be 31 next month. Maliek Collins will be 29. Steven Nelson will be 31. Jimmie Ward will be 33.

The fact of the matter is that half of our defense are simply too old or about to be too old.

2 years from now only a small handful of starters on Defense from 2023 will even be on this roster. It needs draft talent BADLY.

We will be able to fill a couple of those spots with 2nd contract Free Agents entering their primes hopefully so it’s not like dire or anything but next season the Defense needs our attention.

No, it’s not a luxury pick. It’s a stupid pick.

We are fine at the WR position. DT or offensive line is more important.

I’m really not worried about it. This is one of the few times I agree with the “Best guy on the board mentality”. The most important thing is getting an elite player. Position (excluding QB obviously) is not really important. We don’t have a whole lot of super glaring holes, and we also don’t have all the factors. Who are we going to get in free agency? I don’t mean to scare y’all, but we have a ton of cap space. while free agency starts the day after the draft, you know guys are going to be talking long before that. Also, who is going to get taken before we pick? The browns aren’t doing us any favors, so we are likely going to be picking rather late in the round. There is a bigger picture here, and think we should just trust Mr. Caserio. We are in very good hands.

Don’t underestimate the impact of an elite WR on an offense but that being said, it’s not our most pressing area of need. I’d much rather see us take an elite lineman, preferably on offense.
