All I see is Fire Bowles after every loss, it’s like we continuously ignore the fact that our offense CANNOT score. We’re averaging 16 PPG in our losses. That INCLUDES the 37 against the Texans. We simply won’t win if we can’t score on offense. We’re 9th in the league in points allowed. We’re 23rd(!) in scoring offense. Not saying Bowles is perfect, but if our offense is even average, we’re probably above .500

    I mean our offense has a rookie OC, we expect it to not be great.

    What we don’t expect is a HC who is supposed to be a defensive specialist consistently having a defense that gets embarrassed, is out of position, and cannot stop long drives or get off the field. We had how many drives in the first half? And how many drives in the 3Q?

    Both are to blame. But the defense is supposed to be a position of strength that an offense going through growing pains can lean on. Instead neither are reliable, and one has more excuses than the other.
