I’m not sure there’s much to learn from a game when you get smashed like that.
Thoughts:
-
Chet is going to be a damn good NBA player. He’s near impossible to defend when he gets to his spots.
-
SGA is a top 5 player. He’s damn near unguardable. Camara did a fine job on him when he was on him, even stopped him a few times, but that dude is on another level.
-
We have some really exciting young players man. Watching Murray, Camara, and Rupert all get minutes tonight, damn it was eye opening to where we are headed in a year or two. We finally have length.
-
Chauncey gets a pass for this game. Coaching can only do so much when you get smashed like we did tonight. I’m still overall pretty happy with the style and intensity he’s got our younguns playing.
-
Gonna be a lot more night like tonight (although hopefully not too many THIS bad, OKC was just lights out tonight), so let’s not get too down about this abomination of a game. We’ve lost 5 rotation players and signing dudes off the street at this point.
- Yup.
- Shai’s a monster.
- Kris and Rupe are going to be doing a lot of carpooling to North Portland. They should be good pals.
- There’s only so much you can do.
- OKC is a positive example. Give them their respect, that’s where POR wants to get.
Gotta get the Hop Pass and grab that 44 bus.
That would be fantastic PR for TriMet. :)
Have the younguns do a PSA…
Take the 44 bus, to come to see us. :)
That’s brilliant!
Been saying since last year, SGA is better than Dame and has been for a couple seasons now. Dude has just been getting “hurt” to tank the seasons. Dude can do whatever he wants on offense and score at will. Offensive game way more varied than Dame. Much better passer than Dame. Much better defender than Dame. Oh and he’s freaking a 6’6” PG. Lots of homers got pretty pissy when I said SGA was better, now he gets to show it every night cause the tank is off in OKC.
