I know we are coming off a loss but I have to say that this is the most fun I’ve had being a Vikings fan since the Favre year. It’s hard to explain but the vibe and general attitude the team has is just fun and even in a loss I’m still satisfied with the game I watched. I’d argue it exceeded the feeling I had last year where only time I was happy was when we won, and not the actual game itself. But now with how Dobbs makes plays out of nothing and how well our defense is playing compared to last year, we can be blown out in the wildcard and I’d still be happy with how the season turned out. God bless the Vikings.
Kind of a hyperbole, but I wouldn’t mind in the sense that I would be satisfied regardless of the result. In comparison to last year, where we would be out coached for most of the game only to have a solid drive at the end grew tiresome and it there was always that sense of dread that it wouldn’t be sustainable in the playoffs, which eventually became true.
Now however, with everything I said in the original post, there is more of a “unknowingness” to this style of play that is straight up more entertaining than what I’ve seen recently from this team that makes me look forward to watching this team rather than just hoping they win. Also giving me a better sense that we can make more noise in the playoffs than years past. Again though I’m just spit balling and it’s just how I feel, probably in the minority here.
